Large Vintage Alfred DUNHILL Rosewood Humidor, Luxury Cigar Box withGlass Liner
Handsome vintage Mid-Century humidor by Alfred Dunhill of London, with the maker’s metal plaque (“London · New York · Paris”) affixed inside the lid. The exterior is a striking book-matched rosewood veneer with a rich, lacquered finish. Both the base and the interior of the lid are fitted with glass insert liners and features a prominent outer locking mechanism (no key), heavy brass quadrant hinge and Spanish cedar-lined interior wall panels with a metallic mesh ventilation sleeve to preserve moisture levels. Truly a gorgeous box to store and display the finest cigars. Would make a wonderful desk or bar accessory for any collector or cigar enthusiast. Measures: 12″ x 9″ x 3.5H. Antique Black Forest Cigar Humidor Tobacco Box Or Jewelry Casket Carved Walnut
Offered is this spectacular antique German black forest tobacco cigar humidor. Probably made in the early 20th century, 1910’s-1920’s. The case is made of solid walnut with detailed hand carved reclining male and female figures also carved floral urn scoll designs on each end. The inside is lined with white opaque vitrolite glass with a small divider and lid. In excellent antique condition. Shows minor light marks from age and use. Finish is original, has been cleaned, waxed and it looks fantastic. Can also be used as a jewelry casket or trinket box too. Measures about 14″ long 9″ wide by 8 tall.
