Antique Vintage Royal Jamaica Cigar Humidor Box Inlaid with Key

Royal Jamaica’ Cigar Box. A lovely wooden cigar box decorated with geometric banding dating from the early to mid 20th Century. The inside of the lid is stamped with the “Royal Jamaica Cigars” logo and it comes with two original de-humidifiers. The box also comes with its original working key. Width : 16 1/2 (42cm). Height : 5 1/2 (14cm). Depth : 9 1/2 (24cm). The box is in good condition for its age. It has been well looked after and has retained its natural aged look. The outer has some small age related knocks and scuffs but nothing detrimental. Inside it is generally clean and tidy with a few small marks and overall it displays very well and is certainly a nice usable item. WONDERFUL and RARE wooden inlaid old H. UPMANN luxury cigar Humidor/Box STUNNING

Hi and welcome to my listing for this simply stunning H. I’m guessing that with the level of craftsmanship displayed in the box construction that this was probably a commissioned piece. The humidor/box measures approx :- 30 cm long X 11 cm high X 19.5 cm deep. Internally 25.5 cm long X 7.7 cm high X 15.2 wide. The box is wooden with wonderful inlay work on the top it is inlaid with a beautiful H. The catch is metal with a knob that slides to the side to open the lid. Upmann branding is also stamped on the inside of the lid. The box looks to have some age to it and is in very good/excellent condition (just a very small section of inlay missing out of the pattern on the side of the box but difficult to see and in no way takes away from the presentation of the piece). Up for sale is a high quality antique 19th century handmade wooden marquetry cigar humidor box. It’s crafted with elaborate design consisting of hand cut and inlaid marquetry detailing throughout and finished with a floral detailed velour lining underneath. This lovely hinged box has a tapered lid and is lined with a tin metal lining meant for cigar preservation. It has an elaborate Art Deco cast iron locking mechanism on the face but does not have a key. It’s in nice used condition and measures 11 inches long by 7 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall. I have for sale a well-used antique wooden box. It has inlaid diamond designs, using fine grained woods. The top lid opens to a removable tray with five compartments. That has dovetail joint construction. The front of the box has a lock, but I don’t have the key for it. I believe it was made in United States, sometime in 19th century or earlier. This is a beautiful humidor in what has the appearance of Birdseye Maple with pink hues on the ends and an inlay design on the top. The box measures 11 1/2″ in length by 4 1/2″ in height with a hinged lid and a built in barometer in the top. There is a sticker on the bottom that states “Nuova Strada Baranica, 1 – Sorrento – Inlaid Wood Works Music Boxes Sorrento Intarsio” and also a Made in Italy sticker.
