Elegant plain finish, with spreading walls and a high domed lid. Raised on four bracket feet. Cedar wood lined interior, in clean condition. The lid closes flush with the body, without leaving any gap. Fully hallmarked on the lid and the body. It is free from inscriptions or monograms. The base measures 9″ x 5 1/2″ approximately. The underside is lined with a real wood panel. HALLMARKS: Chester, STERLING fineness 925. MAKER George Unite & Sons. DIMENSION: 22.5cm x 13.8cm (9″ x 5 1/2″). Height: 7cm (2 3/4) approx. I have for sale a well-used antique wooden box. It has inlaid diamond designs, using fine grained woods. The top lid opens to a removable tray with five compartments. That has dovetail joint construction. The front of the box has a lock, but I don’t have the key for it. I believe it was made in United States, sometime in 19th century or earlier. Approximate dimensions are: 9 1/8″ long, 5 1/8″ wide, and 5 1/2 tall. This is a finely handcrafted woodwork. That has an unusual design. The item “Antique Inlaid Wood Box.
