A rare, antique Meriden silverplate Art Nouveau humidor with a nude lady on the lid. The box is just over 8.75 inches wide and is just over 2.5 inches tall. This is a very scarce model that is in excellent condition with only a few small touches of wear to some high points / high contact areas, and some light scratches. Antique Heintz 4095 Sterling Silver Bronze Humidor Cigar Box w Rare Verde Patina Finish. Heintz Art Metal Shop, or AMHS engraving on bottom, along with August 27, 1912 date. A fine example of American Mission Arts & Crafts movement. The box is in great vintage preowned unaltered original condition. This listing is for a hard-to-find Arts & Crafts/Mission Period tobacco humidor with Sterling Silver overlay made by the Heintz Art Metal Shop, c. This nice tobacco humidor is extremely attractive with its green verde mottled finish and original patina. The silver will polish nicely if you wish to polish. This great humidor is in excellent condition with no noted flaws or damage other than the original patina (unpolished) silver. Also stamped for the retailer and for item number. The patent date refers to the date the patent was issued for the process of applying sterling silver overlay on bronze without the use of solder. The Heinze Art Metal Shop of Buffalo NY began using this process in 1911 before the patent was issued and the company ceased operation in February, 1930. Will be carefully packaged and Insured. Hello, up for sale is. A rare vintage Austrian made cigar humidor tobacco box. Made of wood with sterling silver mount frame on the hinged lid and decorated with print of Schoenbrunn castle. Inside has two compartments and a divider which can be moved to match the cigars. Silver frame marked with maker J-F and silver markings for Austria post 1922.
