Antique Heintz 4095 Sterling Silver Bronze Humidor Cigar Box w Rare Verde Patina Finish. Heintz Art Metal Shop, or AMHS engraving on bottom, along with August 27, 1912 date. A fine example of American Mission Arts & Crafts movement. The box is in great vintage preowned unaltered original condition. This listing is for a hard-to-find Arts & Crafts/Mission Period tobacco humidor with Sterling Silver overlay made by the Heintz Art Metal Shop, c. This nice tobacco humidor is extremely attractive with its green verde mottled finish and original patina. The silver will polish nicely if you wish to polish. This great humidor is in excellent condition with no noted flaws or damage other than the original patina (unpolished) silver. Also stamped for the retailer and for item number. The patent date refers to the date the patent was issued for the process of applying sterling silver overlay on bronze without the use of solder. The Heinze Art Metal Shop of Buffalo NY began using this process in 1911 before the patent was issued and the company ceased operation in February, 1930. Will be carefully packaged and Insured.
