Switzerland , Mid-1900’s, made of wood. Height : 5.5 in. Width : 8.5 in. Depth : 5.5 in. Great overall condition, with original key, for 24 cigars. My name is Greg, I’m a French guy who had business in Charlotte NC for 3 years. Unfortunately, I had to move back to France because of a slow activity. I fell in love with the US, particulary Charlotte! So now my only goal is to return to Charlotte, and for that I want to export French furnitures and antiques there! This idea came because of my love for wood and history. It is a great area to find valuable furnitures and smalls because of the proximity of wealthy ski resorts like Megève and Chamonix Mont-Blanc. It is also close to Geneva (switzerland), about 45minutes by car. The Geneva area is one of the richest in Europe due to finance and whatchmaking. Italy’s not to far as well, 40 minutes. So when you’re living and picking in this kind of environment, It is not rare to come across real pieces of art and history. Antique 1908 handmade wood tole sterling smoking pipe cigar holder stand box

Up for sale is a high quality antique 1908 wooden smoking pipe stand. It’s made by hand with elaborate detailing featuring hand tooled tole metal panels on the doors done in high relief. They have a lovely bronze handle and open on hinges exposing the interior. The lid has a sterling silver badge with hand engraved initials/dated and the lid locks the doors when it is shut. Inside has a section for 6 pipes and has three drawers with ornate gilt bronze handles. One of the drawers also has a carved bone inlaid name plate. It’s in great condition and measures 16 1/2 inches long by 12 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide. Antique Black Forest Carved cigar humidor Box With Birds

A SWISS’BLACK FOREST’ FRUITWOOD HUMIDOR. Modelled as a cabinet, the top section surmounted by two carved birds perched on a naturalistic scene with hinged doors with original working brass lock and bolt along with the old original key opening to reveal 6 pull-out trays each for 8 cigars, to hold a total of 48 cigars each in shaped recesses. The bottom section with a single frieze drawer. Finely hand carved, 19th century Swiss artisans, Grand Tour souvenir of that area. The back of the cabinet is plain un carved. Each of the 6 sliding trays are in excellent condition and are 7wide x 4.5 deep. The chest stands a total of 14.5 including the carved birds up top. Please see the photos. Good condition for age and type. Has a number of old small chips/tips missing to the high relief carved flowers around the cabinet – one of the birds beaks has been chipped off and has a number of chips to the leaf around the pair of birds. Beautiful colour, the old patina, with high quality carving and construction. No damage to legs or other aspects of the cabinet. Not a soaking humidifier. Each of the 6 trays will take 8 cigars of up to 12mm diameter. Total un packed weight 2.290kg -5lb US. Total hight 37cm -14.5.
