Incredible Antique Tiffany & Co. Etched Sterling Silver Wood Lined Humidor Box. This elegant box is made of highly detailed sterling silver & is lined in wood. Very Fine acid-etched scroll mesh lace pattern. Box and cover cedar lined and partitioned. The silver has been lightly polished to highlight the fine etching. There are minor dings and imperfections. The wood lining has a crack on the bottom, and just 2 of the original 3 removable dividers remain. The wood retains the luscious scent from Partagas gone by. Your local jeweler should be able to quickly remove the engraved initials from the lid. This is a thoroughly glamorous gift for a Man or Woman. We believe the box dates to 1931 or prior, under the directorship of Jo hn C. Moore II (1907 – 1947). Approximate measurements 9-1/4″ long by 5-3/4″ deep x 1-3/4 high.
