Antique Sterling Silver signed Tiffany & Co Etched Cigar, Humidor Document or Desk Trinket Box, marked Tiffany & Co 20041B Makers 13634 Sterling Silver 925-100 M on the bottom. 9.25 x 6.0 x app. 3.5 in size. Has initials engraved on the cover with a raised, etched design of bows and ribbons. We are not sure if this was a cigar box or a desk box but it has a slight odor of cigars inside. In very nice antique condition, No dents, but the bottom edge has a few nicks – see photos # 4 and 5 for an idea, inside has tarnish and dirt as well as tarnish on the outside which we did not clean or polish and leave that to the new owner, hinge is fine, inside of the cover has a gold hue to it, we are not sure this had gilt at one time, or is just tarnish and the side of the inside has discoloration and tarnish and bottom inside has rusty looking dirt or tarnish. You also see some camera reflections and shadows, bottom also has some scratches and we left the piece as found. Heavy and substantial, weighing 963.45 dwt or 48.17 ounces or 1498.33 grams.
