Antique Hand Painted Wood Humidor with Porcelain Lined Lid. Box for Cigars Tobacco Tea. Here is a very beautiful wooden box most likely intended for humidor, since the lid is lined with porcelain. Very dark, almost black wood finish with hand painted oval cartouche to the top. Manly design for a sophisticated gentleman. Probably used for tobacco or cigars but tea is also an option. Metal hinges and a lock, but unfortunately the key is missing. Sturdy and in great usable shape. Early/Mid 1800’s, Anglo- American.
