A lovely leather covered cigar box, dating from the early 20th Century. The outer of the box is covered in a red leather with a silver mounted shield escutcheon and silver “Cigars” label. Both silver pieces are clearly hallmarked for London 1902. Both flaps of the box lift up to reveal a plain wood lined interior. Height : 3 1/2 (9cm). The box is in good condition for its age. It has been well used but well looked after and has retained its natural aged look. The outer has some small age related knocks and scuffs and minor losses but nothing detrimental. Inside it is generally clean and tidy and overall it displays very well and is certainly a nice usable item.
