The humidor is quite large as it measures 10 3/16″ wide by 6 7/16″ deep and 6 1/8 tall to the top of the handle. This humidor has a wonderful hand hammered texture on copper with a splendid applied hand hammered decorative handle. The hand hammering is plentiful and wonderfully done. The patina is as found original condition and considered quite good. You can see some wear with the copper peeking through especially inside the box but the craftsman brown with black highlights brings the warmth to this piece. The handle is mounted to the top cover and is held in place with faceted rivets. On the underside cover you can see a strap that is also riveted. This is where the sponge with moisture was stored. This humidor is considered to be in very good to excellent condition as there are no cracks or major dents to the metal. There is a few indents in one side and one of the feet has some buckling but nothing too obtrusive. This is pictured and considered normal age wear. Some areas of patina are weaker than others but it is original as found. The inside shows more patina wear but this is a moot point because you cannot see this when the lid is on.
