Don’t pass on this one. It has all the best in distress and antique quality. The color and patina is exquisite. The cracks are old cracks, and the wood aged to a black patina naturally over many years that makes the box have the authentic look that every repro tries to copy. I wish the upper lock wasn’t broken and discarded, but it was. So, the box no longer locks. Someone really needed a smoke and couldn’t find the key I guess. What a cool box!
